We are shortlisting for a great opportunity with a prominent UK food business offering a vast range of products to their customers.
Our client is looking for a graduate/entry level talented candidate looking to get their "boots on the ground" grow their knowledge of the technical disciplines of the food industry and quality management systems.
Their main role will be to support and understand technical policies and strategies both internally and for the customers, traceability, contributing to HACCP plans, completion of customer specifications, complaint and resolutions, close liaison with central technical team, report on non conformances and preventative actions, data analysis and trending, micros and testing schedules ensuring products are compliant and food safety and quality standards are met.
Supporting the Technical and Quality function of the business, excellent attention to detail is required as well as a champion of continuous improvement and the ability to adapt in a fast moving environment.
The successful candidate must have food manufacturing experience, food technology/food science related degree.
Awareness of HACCP and exposure to BRC a would be advantageous.
Confident communication skills are vital for this role in order to liaise with members of staff and customers.
The position will suit a forward thinking and affable individual who works well in a team and with a keen passion for delivering and with good organisational skills.
