Job Description
Job title: Temporary SEND Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education are working with many schools across the Yate area who require Teaching Assistants to provide general classroom and specific SEND support.

– Weekly pay of £79.24 per day before deductions
– Flexibility; we will work with you to find placements in areas that suit you and working hours that fit with your availability
– Long term roles available, as well as shorter term and ad hoc roles
Some experience and knowledge of supporting children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs is preferable but not essential.
Most importantly, we are looking for candidates who have a strong interest in working with children and young people and are able to remain calm in challenging situations. You may have gained transferrable skills from another sector or you may have supported children and young people on a voluntary basis.

In order to work with Axcis, we need you to complete a registration process including obtaining a child enhanced DBS on the update service if you do not already have one (cost for DBS is £44.36)
