Job Description

Anderson Knight are currently recruiting for a Tendering Engineer for our client who operate within the Multi Utility sector. Reporting to the Tendering & Design Manager, the Tendering Engineer will provide multi utility quotations for our customers, who are constructing new housing and commercial developments across the UK. Responsible for on and off-site gas, electric, water and fibre quotations in accordance with applicable standards.

Responsibilities

· Achieve high customer liaison and satisfaction with our quotation processes. By providing quotations and variations to meet customer expectations.

· Design for the purposes of pricing, Gas, Water, Electric and Fibre networks to provide budget and firm quotations to the Customers with associated design proposals.

· Tender for innovated solutions that satisfy both our customer needs and the needs of internal stakeholders – provide lowest cost for greatest benefit.

· Liaise closely with the customer to ensure quotations meet the client’s expectations.

· Raise new enquires on the system and assist with information gathering to progress new quotations.

· Manage workload effectively and ensure trackers are kept up to date with relevant information.

· Undertake demand calculations, network drawings and variations where applicable to ensure quotations are fit for purpose, legislatively compliant and in accordance with company and industry standards.

· Submit connection requests to incumbent utility operators and ensure they are returned within the customer required timescales.

· Provide support to internal/external customers as required.

· Liaise with representatives of third-party organisations e.g. incumbent utility operators, Highway Agencies, Local Authorities, Housing Developers, HSE, EPA etc. as required.

· Issue data and reports in line with business requirements.

· Maintain and improve consistent accuracy of data records.

· Any other duties as required by the manager
