Trainee Electrical Engineer

(Electrical Qualification Essential)

Basic from £20,000 upwards

40 hour week

Door to door pay

Full training provided and funded

We are currently looking to recruit a Trainee Electrical Engineer to work within our specialist Commercial Catering department. Over the last 20 years' we have built longstanding relationships with a wide range of clients throughout the UK. This has now led us to unprecedented growth taking us to over 100 engineers! All of our engineers are genuinely passionate about the growth of the company which helps us to assure the quality of service we provide.

Contract wise we work a long side pub chains, takeaway fast food & restaurants chains.

As a Trainee Service Engineer, you will be provided with one to one training on service, maintenance and repair of all electrical commercial catering equipment through kitchens within pubs, restaurants and fast food chains. This role is field based and will require you to be customer facing as well as meeting clients.

Previous Experience Required

Full Drivers License (Essential)

Electrical qualifications essential (for example – 18th, 17th edition, HNC, NVQ, City and Guilds in electrics)

Relevant experience working on commercial catering equipment

Electrical experience (not required but an advantage)

Package Overview

Competitive basic salary starting from £20,000 upwards.

40 hour week/ Paid door to door / 20 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays / Smart Phone & PDA / Uniform / Company Van VW Caddy + Fuel Card / On Call 1 in 4

On Call

On call currently 1 in 4 with £50 standby payment

Overtime Rates

Overtime paid at time and a half.

Top up training provided and funded if required.
