Job Description
Job Role: Nights Warehouse Operative
Location: Poole
Pay rate: £10.75 Per Hour / Weekly Paid
Working hours: 23.55 to 08.30am
AD HOC between Monday – Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Active Staff are working with a reputable company in Poole who are looking for Parcel Sorters/Warehouse Operatives to join their busy team for an immediate start!
This position is based within the Parcel Sorting unit and is an ongoing ad-hoc temporary position.
Previous warehouse experience desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities:
* Sorting cages into relevant bays ready for distribution
* Loading and Unloading Lorries
* Preparing parcels into relevant cages
* Ensuring attention to detail
* Keeping to timescales and deadlines
* Work within a team
* Adhering to Health and Safety regulations
* Ensuring the Warehouse/Loading Bay is tidy and safe from hazards
* Some heavy lifting maybe required
Requirements:
* Complete a DBS by week 4 of working.
Due to the nature of this job, you will need to be reliable and have a willingness to learn and progress in the role. This role will involve manual handling, heavy lifting and will involve being on your feet and moving about frequently
