Workshop Supervisor – Newton Abbot
Permanent
Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 per annum

Our client supplies high quality, reliable components as well as engineered services. They specialise in construction, mobile, marine, defence, food and pharmaceutical. They also hold vast stocks of hydraulic and pneumatic components for same day or next day delivery.
The core function of this role is to supervise the workshop, organisation of the team and workload timescales.
Responsibilities Include:
* Supervising the Engineering team, workload, and schedules to ensure smooth running
* Promoting the company when communicating with customers
* Follow-up of quotes and enquiries on customer equipment to convert to order
* Follow up and progress repairs quotes, and review progress with decision-making process
* Maintaining & updating our CRM systems with details of conversations and order progress
* Must also be prepared to talk to customers from time to time on our busy trade counter
* Work closely with the rest of the Sales and Technical teams on site
Essential Experience:
* Extensive experience within Engineering / Mechanical Grounds
* Experience of Word and Excel to an intermediate level
* UK driving licence (held 3 years min)
* Able to supervise and organise the running of a busy workshop
* Must have excellent telephone manner
* Able to work independently and prioritise your own workload
