Job Description

Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Junior Draughtsman based in Milton Keynes for a steel fabrication company.

Summary of the Junior Draughtsman role…

Salary: £20,000 – £26,000 per annum d.o.e.
Location:  Milton Keynes
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

As the Junior Draughtsman your role will involve the following important duties:

Create packs of Technical Steel drawings. 
Produce 3D models of a range of steelwork projects.
Produce drawings and material lists using Tekla CAD software.
The experience required…

As a successful Junior Draughtsman, you will have the following:

CAD 2D experience is essential.
Experience using Tekla 3D software experience would be an advantage. 
Previous experience or knowledge of the steelwork fabrication industry would be advantageous. 
Quick learner and enthusiastic. 
Strong Maths skills. 
Background/knowledge of the construction/civil engineering industry would be desirable.
