Web Developer – JavaScript
Our client are one of Bristol’s fastest growing digital agencies, based a short walk from the city centre, they is looking for a Front End Web Developer to assist with front end web design, software, and CMS integration projects.
As a Front end Web Developer within this agency, you will work with a high-end software and technical systems development team, an excellent UX and creative team and a video production department to support our growing list of impressive clients.
Responsibilities
Creating accessible and responsive websites using HTML, CSS and Javascript
Coding with modern ES6 Javascript
Building interfaces
Implementing page speed optimisation techniques
Utilizing GIT for source control
Collaborating with creative, back-end and client-side teams to bring websites and features to life
Working in multidisciplinary teams during web project’s life cycle
Maintaining client’s websites with both new features and bug fixingTechnical experience:
Commercial experience within a web development environment doing front-end development
Proficient in CSS and use of pre-processors (SCSS)
Fluency in Javascript
Skilled in responsive web development/mobile first methodologies
Experience writing modular and maintainable code
Ability to analyse requirements and problems and propose solutionsNice to haves
Experience with any CMS platform
Experience working with Gulp/Webpack build tools
Experience with any front end JavaScript frameworkOur client offers remote working arrangements. Though they would expect you to be on-site for vital client meetings from time to time.
