Job Description

2nd Line Engineer – £35,000 – Dartford

Our client has an excellent opportunity for a 1st/2nd Line Engineer looking for their next career step. This full-time support engineering role is based in Dartford and offers a salary of up to £35,000 – £40,000.

In this engineering role, you will deliver outstanding customer service by understanding clients' IT and business needs.

In your first few weeks in this 2nd Line Support Engineer position, you can expect to:

Ensure quality working relationships with end users and develop and maintain communication skills appropriate to the environment
Understand and operate the escalations procedures
Support clients
Mentor the team

To apply, you will need at least 2 years of experience and must be able to demonstrate support knowledge to a 2nd line level in the following technologies: (Can be strong hands-on 1st line experience)

Office 365
Windows Server Active Directory
Networking
Basic routing, switching and firewall rules.
