Account Manager
Delighted to be working with my client, an established company of nearly 20 years formed by experienced practitioners to provide a unique combination of expertise in social housing, surveying, and software design. Continuous growth has opened up a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager to join their team.
You'll be working in a flexible, innovative and supportive environment, where you will focus on existing clients, and develop a 'trusted advisor' relationship maintaining exceptional levels of customer retention.
Your role as Account Manager will be to act as the conduit of information between the company and their clients, providing them with a range of functions and services including, consultancy, training, and marketing/event management services for National Housing Maintenance Forum.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience and displays the ability to:
Identify opportunities for new business
Manage implementation of new sales and oversee the delivery of services
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to convey complex themes
Arrange both on-site and remote training/consultancy sessions
Outgoing and comfortable communicating with customers in person and over the phone
Account management or customer service experience
Ability to take initiative and problem solve
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Ability to work independently
Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Social housing sector experience and event management will be helpful, but is not essential as training will be provided
Salary: £28,000 increased to £30,000 after probation 6mths
Hours: 37.5 per week
Remote working Leeds based – but will include travel for on-site client visits, training sessions, quarterly meetings at our London office and conferences. This could include overnight stays. (No vehicle required)
Holiday: 28 days + SBH
