Job Description
Stem Recruitment have a fantastic new opportunity for an Accountant with their global manufacturing client based in Paisley. This is a full-time, permanent position and will be based on-site.
Role and responsibilities:
* Management of the finance function of the company and its associated companies
* Production of monthly management accounts for 2 different businesses to tight deadlines
* Collation of subsidiary accounts and submission to group head office
* Reconciliation of management accounts to general ledger, managing accruals and prepayments
* Management of accounts payable and receivable functions
* Management of cost accounting, stock control, stock provisions
* Manage a team of 5 people (based in Paisley)
* Management of company insurances and pension
* Management of company payroll
* General audit requirements and production/filing of statutory accounts
Skills required:
* Ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
* Experienced with accounting software and adaptable to new systems – SAP experience essential
* Experience within manufacturing environment preferred
* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage finance function
* Able to travel to other business locations in UK to support business – driving license required
* Experience working for an international group desirable
Salary:
£40-50k DOE
