Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Children’s Assessment and Safeguarding teams for an adoption family support worker who has an interest and preferably some previous experience of working within the field of adoption.
Ideally, the client requires full-time workers, however, part-time may be considered or even a job share, the role will be paying £13.23 per hour; paid via an approved umbrella company.
The role will involve
Working closely alongside a children’s Adoption Social Worker who will support children whose plans are adoption.
Collating information for life story books and compiling life story books to a high quality in order to promote adopted children’s family history and identity as they grow.
Linking with Adoption Tees Valley, our regional adoption agency, foster carers and prospective adopters as well as other professionals who have had, involvement with the child/children and can contribute to their story.
We welcome applications from Newly Qualified Social Workers, Family Support Workers or Social Work Assistants.
