Job Description

Our client is a well-established global freight forwarder with a wealth of experience in handling Ocean, Air & Road Freight globally. With offices in Belfast, Dublin, Liverpool and Singapore along with a global agency network specialising in air, road, sea and supply chain solutions
We are now looking for an Air Freight Operations Clerk to work in the Air Freight operations department at our clients premises in St Helens.

Working in our Air freight team you will be managing the delivery of consignments by Air Freight globally.
* Providing exceptional customer service to clients across Ireland
* Liaising with overseas agents to arrange inbound and outbound air freight deliveries
* Creating airway bills and managing inbound customs clearance through Irish and UK customs systems
* Arranging deliveries and collections throughout Ireland

Requirements
* 2 years' experience in Air Freight Forwarding.
* Excellent customer service skills
* Preferable – inbound customs clearance experience (3rd country)

Benefits
* Salary dependent on experience range £28,000 to £32,000
* Enrolment in company pension scheme
* 20 days paid holidays per year plus stat. days
* Extra days annual leave based on length of service
* Annual Bonus payment
* Extensive training including Dangerous Goods by Air training
