Job Description
We are looking for a highly-motivated Site Manager to join our busy team. We as a team, pride ourselves on High Quality Work amd are looking for someone with the same values.

At Oxford Construction Limited we are now at a point where the top man needs someone to help run the sites – we tend to have 2-3 sites running at a time and splitting one person is becoming increasingly difficult. You will need to be his right hand man.
All of our sites are roughly within an hour of Carterton, driving licence is essential and we can provide a van if required.
As a Site Manager you will be responsible for effectively motivating, supporting and managing the site-based team to ensure that the required health, safety and environmental performance standards are achieved.

* CSCS card at Site Manager level or equivalent
* Valid SMSTS certificate
* Full UK Driving Licence
* BTEC diploma in Building Construction or NVQ Level 3 or 4 or similar
* Minimum of 3 Years Experience as a site manager
* Ability to chair and run meetings
* Proven track record of motivating staff and managing a site effectively
* Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation
* Experience with preperation of all health and safety paperwork
* Be able to work with a high degree of accuracy
* A trade background
* Ensure compliance with the Company's health and safety and environmental policies and procedures
* Work with the Director to prepare the Gantt Charts, review and revise in line with budget requirements
* Monitor progress of the build programme to ensure construction methods and timescales are met and take corrective action to bring progress back in line
* Agree and manage the equipment, plant, staffing and sub-contract requirements for the site
* Work with the office to respond to all queries from trades and action accordingly
* Work with the office to manage the recruitment and induction of new employees in line with Company best practice guide
* Conduct half yearly and annual appraisals with staff and liaise with the office to address development needs
* Be ambitious, keen to progress and undertake any training necessary
* Must have excellent planning, organisational and communication skills
