The Opportunity

My client is looking for a Demand Planning Manager to play an integral role within their supply chain team managing a crucial function for the wider business. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure and wide-ranging experience in a fast-paced and global supply chain team.

Key responsibilities include:

Develop and maintain sales forecasts across their brand portfolio
Generate the best possible demand forecast for all brands in collaboration with the Business Ops, Finance and Supply chain teams
Build and own a KPI dashboard for demand planning to track and report against
Ensure that sales forecasts and stock ordering remain truly reflective of demand
Monitor sales against forecast, identifying trends, changes in demand and working with stakeholders to plan promotional activity and seasonality into demand plan
Track actual orders against demand forecast, investigating variances to understand the impact on sales and margin
Business partner with the wider Supply Chain function to ensure optimum level of ordering and holding is achieved
Maximise product lead times and MOQ's for full commercial efficiency
Check and evaluate data to highlight issues which may impact our inventory holding availability

Job Requirements:

Amazon Marketplace experience is essential
Previous e-commerce experience would be highly desirable
Experience of working at volume, > 500 sku's
Strong Demand Planning and/or merchandising experience
Commercial Mindset with previous accountability for tracking and reporting to stakeholders
Advanced Excel skills
