Job Description
Job Title – Despatch Front Line Manager
Salary – £43,300
Shift – 4 on 4 off days
Synergi are searching for a Despatch Front Line Manager to join a reputable food manufacturing business based in the Stevenage area. The successful candidate will ideally come from a FMCG / warehouse background and have experience managing a team of up to 15 people.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Despatch Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a group of Despatch Operatives within a busy food manufacturing facility. You will ensure optimal labour utilisation by making use of the company warehouse management systems and labour flexibility. You will recruit, train, and develop operatives and co-ordinators to reflect the companies values and to perform to the best of their ability and ensure KPI's are hit.
Skills Required:
– Previous leadership/management experience in a warehousing / manufacturing site.
PC illiterate, including working with Excel Spreadsheets, PowerPoint and Word. Capable of using SAP Systems / Warehousing Management Systems
– Previous experience within the FMCG industry
