Their UK flagship facility is based in LEEDS, just a few miles from the M1 & M62 motorways, meaning that the successful Electrical Production Supervisor can easily commute from Wakefield, Bradford, Selby, Castleford, Pontefract, Huddersfield, Wetherby and Harrogate.
Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Production Supervisor will include:
· Lead, motivate and direct a team of skilled and semi-skilled industrial electricians (up to 15 at any one time)
· Plan, prepare and execute work schedules appropriately, in line with manufacturing targets
· Monitor completion of NCRs and analysing trends, whilst reporting issues to various managers
· Ensure valid risk assessments are completed for the department and that any identified risks are minimised
· Ensure that all industry and organisation specific paperwork, documentation and certification is accurately completed
· Communicate workloads with other departments and managers according to progress
For the Electrical Production Supervisor position, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess the following:
· Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 etc.)
· COMPEX, ATEX and 18th Edition IEE qualifications
· DESIRABLE: NORSOK and IEC knowledge
· Strong leadership skills with previous experience within a management/team leading position
Working Hours of the Electrical Production Supervisor:
37 Hours per week working a regular day shift
· Monday to Thursday – 07:00 to 15:30
· Friday – 07:00 to 12:30
In return, the Electrical Production Supervisor will receive:
· Annual Salary: £44,814.00
· Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including public holidays
· Performance Bonus: 5% of Salary (£2,240.70)
· Company Wide Annual Bonus up to £1,700.00 per annum – subject to company performance
· Pension Scheme: 15% Combined Contribution (9% Employer / 6% Employee)
· Access to the onsite canteen (subsidised) and gym
· Free onsite car parking
