Job Description
Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting a English Tutor to work with vulnerable children across the Blackpool area, starting in September
You will be responsible for supporting young children in care with their extra curricular education. Placements are very flexible and able to fit around other responsibilities you have.
CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS:
* Location – Blackpool
* Position – English Tutor
* Start date – ASAP
* Duration / Likely Duration – Full academic year
* End date (if applicable) – July 2023
* Part time – Flexible Hours
* £25 – £30 per hour
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold QTS or Previous experience of working with students on 1:1 basis
Proven track record of improving students performances
Team Teach Qualification would be highly desirable
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided)
DBS on update service
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
– Hold Right to Work in the UK
– Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
– Provide two professional references
