Job Description

I am currently working with a Housing Association that are looking for a Part-Time Factoring Officer based in the North of Glasgow. As Factoring Officer, you will work as part of a team and be the first point of contact in delivering an excellent customer experience, enabling customers to live an independent life assured in the knowledge that their environment is both safe, secure, and supported.

Based on site, your responsibilities will include –

Respond to enquiries from customers and any other persons, recording and resolving these where possible, escalating these when necessary to ensure that customer needs are met.
Promote the use of the communal facilities to customers and local community groups to encourage participation and build a sense of community.
Manage the communal repairs and monitor their progress, to ensure works are completed to a required standard to improve customer satisfaction.
Undertake an inspection of all communal areas highlighting required repairs whilst liaising with the Asset Team to ensure these are completed in a timely manner.
Supervise cleaning staff and or contract cleaners who report to you to ensure high cleaning standards which enhance customer satisfaction and align to Health & Safety requirements.
Undertake mandatory checks and provide assistance in emergencies, liaising with customers and their families to ensure an effective and reactive response to adhere with Health & Safety statutory requirements.
Ensure all estate management tasks are completed to a standard which meets the requirements of the agreed specifications as set out within the Written Statement of Services.This rarely available vacancy will provide an excellent opportunity to work in the Housing/Property sector, the role will offer training and the chance to learn from experienced colleagues.
