Sales & Applications Engineer
£30k + Car Allowance + commission
33 days holiday (including bank hols)

Serve Talent have partnered with a successful Engineering business to recruit a Sales & Applications Engineer for their manufacturing facility based in Mildenhall, Suffolk.
The company themselves are very well established and specialise in the manufacture of low voltage distribution boards/switchboards, enclosed starters, control panels, motor control centres as well as purpose-built bespoke control panels.
What you'll be doing
As a key part of the Sales team, reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new markets, business opportunities and customers, providing an efficient effective and customer focussed approach on the sale and manufacture of low voltage switchgear and control panels. Responsible for providing sales and applications support in the Sales team, you will be required to deliver to sales targets across the business, covering both the sale of whole products, spares, and aftermarket products.
Your skills/experience:
A minimum of an HNC/HND in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification or experience. You will have proven sales and business development experience and a working knowledge of electrical control and distribution systems, a good understanding of working in a busy engineering or manufacturing environment and a full UK driving licence.
