Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible to the Treasurer (CFRO) and responsible for the Finance Officer.
Formulating and implementing financial strategies, while also designing and improving procedures
Provide professional financial advice and guidance for budgets, ensuring value for money and accurately recorded reports
Effectively manage change and support change programs to realize benefits
Be the main point of contact for funding and finance related issues
Work Experience Requirements:
CCAB qualification (CIPFA preferred)
At least 3 years post qualification experience
Candidates must have lived in the UK for the last 5 years for vetting purposes
Influencing decision at senior level
Demonstrable understanding of National and Local Financial and legal Frameworks
Appreciation of multiple ways to use budgetary resources (grants and contracts)
Pay Rate: £54,000 pro-rata
Location: North East Worcester, England
Contract Type: Fixed Term (4 months) with possible (2 month) extension
Benefits: The successful candidate will receive all benefits as a result of the contract being Fixed Term
Working Pattern: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day WFH)
Start Date: ASAP
