Balfour Beatty Living Places has now created a new and exciting opportunity for an operations Supervisor to join our Living Places Business Unit to work in Sleaford
You will ensure the safe and profitable delivery of all types of reactive/emergency works, ensuring sufficient operational resources are available to achieve optimum productivity. Lead and support the reactive delivery crews
Some other key areas will include: –
* Detailed valuation of incoming works
* Interfacing with other revenue Supervisors and construction teams to maximise opportunities for resource sharing
* Dealing with adverse weather situations to ensure the resources are allocated correctly
* Productivity reporting and providing information to support managing outputs
* Resolution of queries relating to planned and completed works
* Support the delivery of winter service provisions
You will probably have the following: –
* Working knowledge and experience of highway maintenance contract, including operational
* Confident individual, with good Managerial skills
* Root cause analysis and cost awareness skills
* Understanding of works programming
