Job Description
Our client is a growing multi-site healthcare business who seek to hire a Financial Analyst/ Management Accountant. The role will be responsible for the day-to-day management accounting of a number of multi site units and will involve developing good working relationships with the operations team across the relevant operating units and supporting the Finance Managers. The role is based in Reading but with an expectation of only being in the office 1/2 days a week.
Responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the FMs in the month-end reporting process for the nominated sites including preparation of financial and non-financial information along with detailed variance analysis and commentaries
* Preparing the month-end journals including accruals and prepayments
* Investigation and resolution of variances against forecast and budget
* Maintaining balance sheet control including reconciliation of relevant balance sheet accounts in a timely and accurate manner
* Supporting the quarterly forecast and annual budget process for the operating units
* Preparation of billing files with monthly reconciliation to the billing system, liaising with the site finance teams to resolve any anomalies in the data
* Assisting in the management, implementation and compliance with financial control policies and processes across the units
* Advising and assisting units with the Purchase Order (PO) and invoice management process; ensuring PO compliance, timely processing of invoices and open PO reviews
* Responsible for the preparation and delivery of various internal and external reporting
* Support in providing information to external auditors as part of the annual audit process
* Provide day to day finance support to the FMs and FC
* Supporting the FP&A Manager and FC with any other ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time
A salary of £35,000-£40,000 is on offer with great benefits
