Job Description
Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Floor Layer to join our team, based in the North West region (Salford). You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £29,500 to £31,500 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience Plus Company Van Plus Benefits.

Responsibilities for this Floor Layer will include:
Full floor laying duties
Flooring and floor tiler
Fitting floors to wet rooms, upstands and hot and cold welds
Measuring, estimating and ordering quantities of floor coverings
Cuts, spreading adhesive cement and latex screeding
Laying out centrelines and underlays of hardboard sheets
Covering materials and joining sections of sheet covering
Prepare and complete floor laying and finished using vinyl, linoleum, rubber, sheet (including Polysafe)
Tile as hard floor finishing including carpet laying
Liaise with customers when arranging and carrying out work, having full regard to their needs and working from written and verbal instructions, including drawings, diagrams, sketches, calculations using measuring equipment
What we are looking for in our ideal Floor Layer:
Competent in all aspects of floor laying and with experience of maintenance work on domestic and commercial properties, including high rise blocks for general repairs and refurbishments. A background of general floor laying work and be able to work in confined spaces. A current driving licence is essential. Skilled workers will hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness and their own tools.
