Job Description
Graduate Data Analyst, Hove, East Sussex, £25-30k, ideally a recent graduate with an IT related/data analytical degree, who is looking for their first job / to start a career since graduating. Full training and support given but must have a positive work attitude and an enthusiasm and passion in all things related to data quality and analysis.
This role is perfect for someone with a keen diligence, an understanding of data quality and integrity. Most importantly, this person has a desire to learn and is adaptable to change.
Some areas of responsibility would be developing and maintaining integration processes for new systems, developing new reports to provide business insights and quality control checks on data and logs.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain integration processes for new systems.
– Develop new reports within platforms to provide business insights.
– Maintain existing reports to ensure they are up to date and in working order.
– Quality control checks on data and logs including developing action plans and processes to minimize errors and improve efficiency.
– Being a key part of a team responsible for data quality and integrity among all systems.
Essential skills:
– Ability to solve complex technical problems. – Desire to learn and adaptable to change.
– Familiarity in programing, ideally in SQL and/or DAX – Proactive approach.
– Strong understanding of data quality and integrity.
– Familiarity with integration tools, data loading and transformations.
– Good general IT and MS Office skills including advanced Excel skills.
Nice to have:
Experience with:
Jitterbit (or similar e.g., SSIS or Informatica)
Snowflake and / or SQL
Web and social media reporting (Google analytics, LinkedIn, Twitter,)
Power BI, Power Automate, Graph API
REST APIs
Microsoft AzureThe Graduate Data Analyst role, £25-30kk is a full-time permanent role, office based, working 9-5pm, flexible working, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, pension, subsidised parking but also within walking distance of Hove station and mainline bus routes, private healthcare, Pilates, massages and free fruit. Looking to interview w/c 19th September.
