Job Description
Graduate Electrical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-estabilished and progressive manufacturer of special purpose machinery based in the Southampton area. Due to the ongoing success and growth of the business they are seeking an Electrical / Electronics Engineering graduate to join the Design & Development team.
Graduate Electrical Design Engineer Position Overview
Assisting with the electrical systems & schematics design of machinery with the use of AutoCAD and SolidEdge.
Creating detailed technical plans for electrical systems
Producing bill of materials for projects
Liaising with the procurement department to ensure parts are onsite for projects
Graduate Electrical Design Engineer Position Requirements
Degree qualified in a Mechatronics / Electronics engineering field
Experience with AutoCAD or similar
Experience with SolidEdge software is desirable
Based in a commutable distance of Southampton
Knowledge of PLC programming is desirable
Strong communication skills
Full UK Driving License
Graduate Electrical Design Engineer Position Remuneration
Salary £24,000 – £30,000 – Dependent upon experience
Monday – Friday, full-time, permanent position
28 Days Holiday, including Bank Holidays
