Location: North West

Salary: Up to £18 per hour (DOE)

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week + Overtime

The Role of the Industrial/Automatic Door Engineer

As an Industrial/Automatic Door Engineer, you will be required to work on Automatic or Industrial Doors (depending on your experience). Working individually and as part of a multi-disciplined team where required to carry out the installation service and repairs various door system manufactures.

Responsibilities of an Industrial/Automatic Door Engineer

Conduct the installation, service, and repairs on automatic/industrial doors to industry standards
Providing customers with advice and identifying the best solution to individual requirements
Working in a team, as well as independently
Be part of a call out rota schedule (Currently 1-12)
Interpretation of engineering drawings
Completion of any documentation relevant to the department, as required
Comply with the companies Health and Safety regulations

Essential Skills/Qualifications

BSEN16005 Accredited
Minimum 3 years' experience working with Industrial Doors, Automatic Doors, Gates & Barriers, however candidates with shop fitting, window fitting, electrical trades and other similar experience will also be considered.
Driving License
Have the ability to fault find
Strong customer skills
Excellent health and safety knowledge is essential for this role
