Job Description
Internal Auditor
Salary- £40,000 – £50,000 (dependant on skills and experience)
10% bonus
40 hours per week
Flexible office-based work (Thorpe Park, Leeds) – weekly office-based days required

Role Purpose:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Auditor.
Working within a small team of four, this is an exciting and varied role, whereby the post-holder will conduct risk-based audit reviews across NGN, covering both operational and non-operational business areas.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
The timely completion of risk-based internal audit reviews using different approaches and methodologies
Agreeing, negotiating and adapting the scope of each audit
Preparing the draft and final audit reports for circulation
Discussing with management all audit findings, recommendations and suggested solutions together with realistic implementation timescales
Managing effective relationships in order to fully manage and meet expectations
Working with integrity, objectivity and confidentiality
Ensure all audits undertaken comply with best practice, legislation and regulatory requirements.
About You:
Essential Skills:
Have demonstrable Internal Audit experience
Have an excellent understanding of risks and controls
Be able to hit the ground running and complete risk-based internal audits with minimal supervision
Have good judgement in terms of identifying audit issues and recommending pragmatic solutions
Be an excellent communicator and able to liaise, influence and negotiate at all levels of the organisation
Be detail conscious, professional and flexible
Have strong commercial acumen
Desirable Skills:
Have an Internal Audit qualification, e.g. IIA
Dependant on the volume of applications we may close the advert early however we will keep it open for a minimum of 2 weeks.
