Job Description
Valves Online are an online company seeking an internal sales/stores person, based at our premises on the edge of Dartmoor.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is willing to learn. A background in an engineering discipline with knowledge of valves or controls is preferred however full training is available for the right candidate. For the right individual, we can offer career progression and opportunity to move into other areas of the business.
The role will be split between the sales office and warehouse. An ideal candidate will have a hands on approach and be assisting the warehouse manager in the assembly and testing of valves for which full training will be given. The other side of the job would be in our sales office, working alongside a friendly team. Duties would including answering the phone, preparation of quotations, order processing and returns.
Duties:
* Following sales process from enquiry through to order
* Liaising with suppliers
* Working in conjunction with stores to ensure orders are despatched in a timely manner
* Effectively answer telephone enquiries
* Support other areas of the business as and when required
Requirements:
* Strong organisational, administrative and telephone skills
* Computer literate (MS Office, Outlook)
* Attention to detail
* Ability to prioritise work
Experience in engineering industry/discipline (Preferred)
