I am looking for an experienced Plant And Transport Manager due to an increase in workloads.
You'll need the necessary knowledge or all current plant and transport legislation along with a solid track record in groundworks subcontracting ideally.
If you don't have this my client will also consider those from a main contracting background provided you have managed the plant and transport sector of the business.
Typically you will be managing the plant and transport aspect of several sites at any one time and these will be in and around Watford. Within an hour of there maximum to be exact.
Your responsibilities will include day to day management of the department, maintenance of all plant and transport, servicing, mot requirements, hiring out within the business, keeping checks on driving times, mileage etc and optimising fuel and general efficiency of the business.
