Job Description
We are supporting a long-standing York centre-based law firm in their search for a legal accounts manager to oversee the businesses account's function, this will be a full-time office-based role.
The ideal candidate will come from a law firm background with a good understanding of solicitor's accounts rules, you will be comfortable in a hands-on role dealing with everything from transactional postings to year end accounts production.
Main duties of the role:
Daily bookkeeping
Produce management information and cashflow reporting for the directors
Produce annual solicitors accounts
Monthly payroll for the staff
VAT Returns
Maintain all ledgers and keep bank reconciled and up to date
Point of contact for all internal and external finance queries Salary: £30,000 – £40,000
