Job Description
Machine Fitter / Builder required. Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer of special purpose machinery based in the Coalville, Leicestershire area. They are seeking an experience Machine Tool Fitter / Builder to join their established engineering team.
Machine Assembly Engineer Position Overview
Mechanical assembly of machines from assembly drawings
Assisting with the electrical wiring
Maintaining a clean and safe work area
Occasional installation and servicing of machinery at customers sites, entailing occasional travel overseas
Assist with initial quality inspections
Machine Assembly Engineer Position Requirements
Strong background within mechanical fitting, ideally within a machinery industry
Based in a commutable distance of Coalville, Leicestershire
Experience using measuring equipment such as optical alignment scopes and straightness gauges is desirable
Strong work ethic
Machine Assembly Engineer Position Remuneration
Salary – £26,000 – £33,000 – depending on experience
Working hours 07:30 – 16:30 Monday to Thursday. Friday 07:30 – 13:30.
Overtime available at an increased rate
