Job Description
Elevation Recruitment are proud to be working with a highly successful manufacturing business, within the Doncaster area, as they look to recruit an additional Management Accountant to join their growing team!
They are looking for an ambitious and driven finance professional who will join the team to support with the preparation of accurate and timely divisional management accounts. This individual will provide support to the Finance Director and act as their 'go-to' for all things finance related. This is an extremely exciting role where you will be at the forefront of exciting changes and pioneer innovative rules within the wider business.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
*Taking ownership over the PO/invoicing system including invoice processing
*Provide a wide range of reporting to support understanding of business performance
*Improve transparency of numbers reported
*Monthly management accounts
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Month end journals – accruals and prepayments
*Assisting in preparing budgets
*Ad-hoc project work
*Build relationships between Finance and other areas of the business (factory)
*Project involvement with process changes and improvements
Qualifications / Experience:
*Previous 2-3 years of accounts experience
*Part CIMA or ACCA qualified (or desire to study)
*Good Excel skills
*Good communication skills – ability to communicate appropriately at all levels to both finance and non-finance colleagues
*Good time management and organisation skills
*Positive attitude
*Professional and confident manner
*Strong level of attention to detail
*Flexible with a can-do attitude
*Proactive and inquisitive nature
