Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location Dunstable -Bedfordshire
Salary £46k to £53k
Needs to be experienced in the food industry!
We are looking for Multi Skilled maintenance engineers, mechanical, electrical
* Fixed shift, no rotation
* Days or Nights shifts… not mixed
* Sunday to Wednesday (Dayshift 7am – 7pm)
* or
* Wednesday to Saturday Nightshifts also available (Nightshift 7pm – 7am)
* 48 hours per week
* Possibility of working overtime
Salary: based on skills, varies from £12 per hour to £26 for highly qualified Multiskilled control engineers.
Benefit: Bonus scheme linked to performance after probation period.
* Main priority is to ensure the continued operation of all plant and equipment, through maintenance of heavy plant machinery – Multi skilled Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and implementation of a PPM procedure, alongwith dealing with any breakdowns.
* -Finding key areas within production where improvements to the process, or the safety of the plant could be made, then implementing these improvements.
* -Managing all engineering projects, and coordinating third party contractors, help the plant to remove and reinstall the main furnace, which was carried out by our own staff, alongside numerous outside specialist contractors and suppliers

* 3+ years’ of experience with hands on production machine and maintenance work
* Must have hands on working experience in a food production facilities
* Excellent ability to use hand and power tools to perform repair and installation (such as: drilling, cutting, grinding, and fabricating)
* The understanding and ability to read schematics and prints
* Familiar with electrical control and pneumatics
* Experience with computer programs (MS Office; Excel; Outlook)
* Must have a valid driver's license
* Passionate about troubleshooting and solving problems
