Multi Skilled Technician
Cambridge
Monday to Friday
40 Hours PW
26 days Holiday not including Bank Holidays
One man Site
Minimal to no call out
Purpose of Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual preferably from either an electrical or mechanical building services background to support and manage as part of a small site-based FM team the M&E service delivery and compliance. Candidates must have hands on experience in dealing with electrical, mechanical and fabric planned preventative maintenance and fault finding.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Planned preventative maintenance of Electrical and Mechanical systems
Carryout reactive tasks which will include lighting, small power, fabric repairs
Ensure reactive repairs completed with minimum downtime or impact on M&E systems
Proactive customer engagement
Main point of contact for all M&E services under contract
Contractor management – Booking in sub-contractor services; reviewing RAMS and service reports and managing reactive works etc
Ensuring all PPM's – Statutory and non-statutory completed in a timely manner in-line with SLA's and KPI's
Ensuring all reactive / small project works are undertaken in a timely manner in-line with SLA's and KPI's
Management of Company logbooks – Ensuring all documentation is kept up to date, uploading of documents on to E-logbooks when required.
Ensure all QHSE requirements are complied with
To ensure stock levels of critical spares are always kept stocked
To procure materials as required for PPM and reactive works
To ensure high standard of housekeeping within plantrooms
To carryout initial investigation/ fault finding of LEV units; lab equipment etc. (Training will be provided)Person Specification
Trade qualified electrical / mechanical / HVAC engineer preferable
Must be client focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work on own initiative, and to work as part of a team
Flexibility to work outside normal hours if required
Ability to complete paperwork and reports to high standards
Enthusiastic and committed approach to work
Neat appearance and manner
