Night Shift Team Leader
£34,000 + Monday – Thursday 20:00 – 06:00 + Private Pension + Holiday + Training + Progression + 3 day weekend
Commutable from Stoke-on-Trent, Crewe, Stafford, Newcastle-under-Lyme
Are you from a manufacturing / production background with management experience looking to get into a new nights based role where you will be the key manager leading all maintenance and production staff for the night shift?
Do you want to work in a people management role while still beings hands on to help to improve efficiency and quality of the manufacturing process from cradle to grave working for a stable, growing manufacturer who are renowned for their training and progression opportunities?
In this role you will lead the team to encourage the best performance and use your experience to implement new improvements to reduce machine downtime and abide to Health and Safety procedures as well as reporting shift performances using Excel.
This company are part of a group of manufacturing companies which have exciting growth plans with a new joint distribution centre being set up and put into place in the next six months. Their products are globally renowned and stocked in some of the UK's largest retailers.
The ideal candidate for this role will have management experience implementing KPIs and working to targets, any experience of CI or 5S within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous and any health and safety qualification would be beneficial.
The role:
Leading the night shift looking after all production staff and engineers
Man-management and hands on where necessary
20:00 – 06:00 Monday to Thursday
The person:
Management experience within an industrial background, working to KPIs
Familiarity with Continuous Improvements and Health and Safety
Has worked nights previously
