This is both an exciting, and rewarding time to join our Newcastle/Gateshead based client in their search for an experienced Office Administrator. You will be working within the charitable sector with an organisation who are dedicated to improving the lives of people experiencing mental health problems. Leading, and contributing, to a team of friendly, outgoing, dedicated individuals.

Hourly rate of £9.90

Temp to perm position

Part Time working hours of Monday and Tuesday 9:00am -17.00pm

THE ROLE

The successful person will play a key role ensuring the operational function of the organisation runs smoothly. Bringing consistency, continuity and a high level of professionalism to a unique organisation. Working between the organisations Gateshead and Newcastle based offices the duties and responsibilities will include,

Answering the telephone using a 3CX app dealing with enquiries professionally and effectively

Providing administration support to the range of services within the business

Inputting referrals on CRM system (Charity Log)

Arrange appointments for clients

Arranging interpreters for appointments

Working closely with the Operational Support Manager to ensure the smooth running of the organisation

Contributing to the overall development of the work of the organisation

Along with the OSM you will help to produce reports from their CRM system

THE PERSON

The successful person will support all administrative needs for the whole of the organisation including training, fundraising, finance, wellbeing and counselling services. Ideally you will be someone who can come in and hit the ground running with the following being essential

At least 2 years’ experience of working within an office environment

A strong understanding of how to use a CRM system

An excellent telephone manner

Excellent communication skills as you will liaise with numerous teams and contacts

Strong working knowledge of using IT, especially Microsoft Office packages

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

An understanding of and commitment to equality and diversity

Understands the requirements of being sensitive to and aware of issues relating to client confidentiality. Experience working within a confidential client service

Desirable Criteria

To have a knowledge of mental health services in the areas

To have a good working knowledge of using Charity Log

To be able to help other staff with any small IT issues they may have
