Pods Social Worker | Maidenhead | Permanent up to £43,746

Windsor and Maidenhead Childrens Services is a part of Achieving for Children – an enterprise who has been chosen for one of the DofE's 'Partners in Practice' who are tasked with the continuous improvement of Children's social care across the country. As you can imagine becoming part of such an organisation comes with a certain level of investment back in the people who work there. We are looking to recruit into their Pods team – this team picks up work from the front door and carries cases from CIN to Children in Care plans. The team has been stabilised in recent years and greatly reduced its dependence on locum social workers due to supportive permanent management and promotion from within.
