Job Description
The ICM group are currently supporting a local, logistics business in their quest for a Export Pricing Specialist due to rapid growth within the business. They are in the market for tenacious, driven and numerically minded individual who has a proven track record within pricing – ideally within the Import or Export industry.
Our client operates in the logistics industry and have rapidly grown into a global brand. They are a market leader within the middle east and are listed on the DFM. They are now looking to experience the same level of Growth within the UK and they need your help!!
As a Pricing Specialist – Exports , your Key Responsibilities will include:
* Create and issue quotations to prospect and existing customers.
* Follow up on all issued quotations.
* Procurement of services such as airfreight rates, ocean rates, haulage and subcontractor
* Handling of RFQ/Tenders from customers, prospects as well as the clients international offices, where necessary.
* Hold regular service review meeting with key suppliers to minimise cost increases
* Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities
* Visiting customers to ensure lasting relationships.
As a Pricing Specialist you will have a proven track record with in pricing and quotations within the Air or Ocean Freight industry. You will be able to build meaningful and lasting relationships with key clients, suppliers and stakeholders. You will be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to adapt in this fast growing company.
Hours for the Pricing Specialist is Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm and the salary is £30,000 per annum plus, amazing benefits and career progression opportunities.
