RESPONSIBILITIES:

No court work would be required for this role allowing you more time to focus on your duties without feeling under pressure.
This is a role that gives you the opportunity for flexible working as you'll be needed in the area 3 days per week for your face-to-face visits, allowing you 2 days to work from home to take care of any admin, helping you create a better work-life balance.
Caseloads will be on average of 16-17 as they are evenly distributed throughout the team so you are able to focus and spend time with individuals without being overwhelmed.
You will be given the opportunity to engage in our Leadership Programme as they will be able to offer a comprehensive range of training and professional development opportunities for you to progress.
Your team will consist of 3 social workers allowing your manager to be very assessable and if the team manager is on leave there is support provided from the assistant team manager.
Working for a small local authority that is organized and established. This will allow the social workers to do cases within the local area avoiding long journeys and allowing cases to be completed at a good rate.

Requirements:
In order to be suitable for this role you must have at least 1 years experience as a social worker working within the locality team.
All experience must be done in the UK.
