Job Description
A1 Jobs is looking for removal porters to join our client’s vibrant team in Silvertown, London.
Shifts: Mon – Fri, with some weekend work available.
Pay: £9.50 p/h + holiday pay.
Role:
You will be working as part of a team completing commercial office removals. This includes packing, loading, and unloading vehicles. This role requires lifting and moving furniture, ensuring client’s sites are emptied of furniture and office equipment.
About you:
* Previous experience in a removals role or similar is preferred but not essential.
* Great customer service skills.
* Great time keeping skills are essential as team members will rely on each other getting to the yard on time to travel to the day’s job.
* Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast paced environment.
* Familiar with safe handling methods.
