SEN Teaching Assistant Job in Bury
Job Description
An SEN secondary school in Bury is looking for full time Learning Support Assistants for immediate start. The role will be temporary for now with the possibility of a permanent position being offered at the end of the term. If successful, you will be working with students aged 11-16 with various additional needs. The role will include working on a 1:1 basis with one student, whilst also sometimes supporting small groups to further their learning. You will work with students mainly in KS4, but could be required for cover at times with younger students.
The ideal candidate will:
– Have experience working within a school
– Have experience working with students with additional needs
– Provide useful and constructive feedback to staff and students
– Create good relationships with other members of staff and students
– Have a Maths and English GCSE

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
