Coalesce Management Consultancy (CMC) have an consulting assignment available for an Principle Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a project we have based in West Midlands offering hybrid working.

This will be for an initial 6 month contract working on a long term project, outside IR35.

Join our latest project

Currently we're looking for an Principle Mechanical Design Engineer to help us provide solutions on a project based in the West Midlands, this requirement will be onsite, 5 days per week, in a world class facility. Equipment will be provided, including dual monitors to carry out the design work.

You will be working on a long term project focusing on propulsion for aircraft. The project is a 5 year project in total and is currently 18 months into development. At this stage they are almost completed with the initial prototype phase, and are now looking for someone to take the project to design freeze and manufacture. You will be joining a team of 4 mechanical design engineers, and working directly with the project manager.

We are looking for someone with:
* Expert knowledge and experience with Solidworks
* A self-leading individual but also able to work well in a team
* Aerospace background would be beneficial but not essential
* Able to start ASAP due to this being an urgent requirement.
