Job Description
Kinetic Industrial are currently looking for a Shot Blaster for a Dukinfield based client who specialise in powder coating. The engineering company have been established for over 40 years and are looking to increase their work force due to increasing orders.
The successful candidate must be able to work Monday to Friday, 2PM to 11PM
The role:
* Shot blasting a variety of steel work (floors, plates, gantry's)
* Stripping, cleaning and profiling surfaces in preparation for coatings and overlays
* Other shot blasting work on pipes may be required
* Meeting customer deadlines
* Quality control throughout the process
* Follow instructions and order sheets
Requirements:
* Shot blasting experience within manufacturing or engineering
* Ability to operate shot blasting equipment
* Overhead crane and / or FLT licence would be a distinct advantage and would offer a higher pay rate
* Excellent understanding of health and safety
* Keen and eager to work
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work in a team
As a Shot Blaster you will receive:
* £10.90 to 13.08 (dependant on experience)
* On-going work
