Job Description
We are looking for a slinger signallers to join team on HS2 site in Brackley, Northamptonshire.
Requirements:
Blue Card A40 CPCS – All duties
About the role
Establish the weight and dimensions of loads and communicate this information to the crane operator
Select appropriate lifting tackle and attach and detach it correctly and safely
Use clear and unambiguous signals to direct the actions of a crane moving loads of various weights and dimensions
Determine the serviceability of lifting accessories, and maintain and store them.
Role will mainly require you to sling on tower and mobile cranes.
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: Mon – Fri 7.30am – 5.30pm (1 hr break each day)
Rates: £15.92 ph PAYE for the first 39 hours, then £23.88 ph PAYE for the rest 11 hours.
Overtimes:
Saturdays – First 4 hours at time and a half thereafter double rate applies
Sundays – Double rate.
Additional benefits: 30 days holiday entitlement per year, pension scheme, fully branded PPE
Daily Travel allowance paid per mile for candidates located over 9 miles form the job or Lodge allowance £43.74 per shift available for candidates located 50miles away from the job and further.
There will be an induction that you would need to attend prior to starting the job.
