Job Description
Social Media Manager, £38-40k, Hove, East Sussex, office based initially during onboarding, then hybrid working moving forward, for exhibition company. This would suit someone with previous expertise in all things digital/social media related, that is full energy and brimming with creative ideas to promote our client globally at their events.
You'll be confident pitching ideas and will bring bags of enthusiasm and energy, whether you're in front of the camera or behind it. You'll have responsibility for day-to-day management of our social media, ensuring our content is engaging, on-brand and speaks to our values.The ideal candidate will have 2-3+ years of B2B social media/community management experience. You'll know how to create impactful business content that engages audiences.
Essential Skills and Experience:
A digital specialist, fluent in commercial use of LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok and other channels
Extensive experience creating successful social content in a variety of formats
Experience in managing online communities and growing audiences
The ability to create digital ads using Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube
A good understanding of digital marketing practices and principles, particularly for social
Experience using digital analytics tools and creating social/ad reports
A self-starter, able to multitask and prioritise
Confident communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
A good eye for detail and design
* Minimum of two years' commercial experience in a similar role
Adaptable and flexible to meet the changing needs of the business
A good degree in a related subject (such as media, marketing, or events) or other marketing qualifications and certifications
Strong verbal and written English Ideal candidates for the Social Media Manager role in Hove, will have experience using HubSpot, SEO and German Language skills (not essential).This is a full-time permanent role, office based, working 9-5pm, flexible working, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, pension, subsidised parking but also within walking distance of Hove station and mainline bus routes, private healthcare, Pilates, massages, free fruit, mediation, social responsibility, travel to their international events. Looking to interview 16/17 September.
