Job Description
Working on behalf of our client Primary School in Droylsden, Prospero Teaching are recruiting a sports graduate to work as a teaching assistant across the school, supporting groups of pupils with Special Educational Needs. The incoming graduate teaching assistant is to start in September 2022 for the full academic year. Successful applicants will be aspiring teachers of the future who have previous experience of supporting primary aged children as a sports coach or have volunteered within a primary school.
* Teaching Assistant post (Graduate)
* Paid experience before PGCE

The incoming Teaching assistant will work with groups of identified pupils to help support outside of a classroom utilising sport to engage the pupils. The incoming sports graduate will work across Key Stage 1 and 2 on both a 1-2-1 and group basis. Whilst at the school you will be given guidance and support from a strong Senior Leadership team.
Candidates looking to apply will need to have the following
* A degree in Sports/Physical Education
Previous teaching assistant or Sports coaching background (desirable)
* Strong academic record (GCSE and A-level's in your chosen subject)
* A confident and outgoing personality and commitment to working for the full year
