Job Description
Position: Teaching Assistant – Birmingham
Start Date: September 2022 Start
5 Days per week on a temporary long-term basis.
TeacherActive have the pleasure of working with a popular Secondary School based in Birmingham that are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with a student on a 1-2-1 basis that has additional needs including Autism.
The Ideal Teaching Assistant will:
Happily work 5 days a week starting at 8:30am finishing at 15.45
Be passionate about providing quality support to students with additional/complex needs be it in a 1-2-1 or small group setting.
Have previous experience in a Secondary setting supporting students from the ages of 11-16.
Have a good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
Posess a Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant Qualification
Have a minimum of 6 months’ referenceable experience in an educational establishment (Essential)
All our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard-earned cash.
A dedicated Secondary Consultant will be available to also support and provide market leading advice whilst in the role.
