Job Description
Trainee CNC Machinist
* £18k – £22k experience depending
* Based near Stadhampton
* 37 hour week with overtime available at 1.5x basic rate
Syntech Recruitment are recruiting for multiple Trainee CNC Machinist's for our aerospace client based out near Stadhampton. As a Trainee CNC Machinist, you will be provided full training on setting and operating CNC Machines for mills and lathes.
No experience for these roles is required – if you have a keen interest in engineering or you have a engineering qualification, please apply today!
Trainee CNC Machinist Duties:
* Learning how to set and operate 3,4 axis CNC machines
* Following all supervisors instructions on health and safety
* Reading engineering Drawings
* Completing mechanical assemblies as required
* Using hand held inspection tools to inspect machined components
Trainee CNC Machinist Profile:
* No experience is required – other then a keen interest in engineering and a strong attitude to learning
* Engineering qualification (degree, BTEC) is ideal but not essential
* Driving license is ideal but not essential
* Must be 18+ and ready to work full time
Our client is hosting an open day on Wednesday 14th September where you will be shown around the site and shown a simple maths and English testing to complete.
For all successful candidates, our client will undertake background security checks. As part of this, they will need to confirm your identity, employment history and address history to cover the past five years as well as your nationality, immigration status and criminal record. For positions that require Security Clearance, the successful candidate must hold or be willing to obtain security clearance up to the relevant level for the role.
