Our client is an international retailer of high end clothing, homeware and beauty products. Hugely growing company offering plenty of support and training, alongside some great benefits. Looking for a keen and experienced Payroll Clerk to join the team of six.
Description
The main responsibilities of this role include:
Assisting with the delivery of the in-house monthly payrolls for Retail, Head Office and International.
Ensuring all payroll, audit and monthly reporting deadlines are met and the data is accurate and correct.
Prepare Head Count and FTE reports in line with the business calendar and reporting needs.
Carry out the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts including the preparation of the period balance sheets across all entities
Complete required investigation work into any Balance Sheet queries/differences working alongside the Payroll and Management Accounts team to rectify these
Ensure timely and accurate production of the monthly Pension reports and payment files
Ensure timely and accurate production of the monthly Share Save scheme files and arrange payment
Supporting the payroll and wider people team with the annual Share Save scheme roll out to all team members
Collate and produce accurate reports on company cars or car benefits available to our team members and work with the reward team to ensure we remain competitive
Processing manual payments outside of the payroll processing periods using Ted's banking system, ensuring that payments such as PAYE, Pension , PSA & P11D's are raised as and when required
Raising all payroll related invoices using the AX system, following up as and when required and acting as the point of contact for payroll suppliers.
Profile
The successful Payroll Clerk should be:
* Proven experience working on complex payroll systems. Core HR experience beneficial
* Knowledge of international payroll an advantage
* Experience of PAYE/HMRC regulations and requirements
* Balance Sheets and reconciliation/relevant accountancy exposure experience an advantage
* Payroll qualification is desirable
* Excel + Word – Advanced Level
